Welcome to fifth grade!

This is my sixth year teaching. I taught in Rochelle CSD 231 for four years and Rockford SD 205 for one year. I am very excited to be an Eswood Lion now! I graduated from North Central College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a minor in Leadership, and a Learning Behavior Specialist 1 endorsement. I also completed the English as a Second Language endorsement with Northern Illinois University in 2020.

My favorite subject has always been Math. I love encouraging students to explore different algorithms and challenging them to explain their thinking in various modalities. As much as I enjoy numbers, I also love a good book. I enjoy reading in my free time and love reading books aloud to my class.
