The Board of Education policy manual comprises the policies and procedures that the Board, school district administration, and school district teaching and support staff personnel will formally and specifically implement on behalf of students, families, and the greater community.

The manual includes policy and procedural requirements under federal and state law, and local determinations of best practices.

The policy manual is regularly updated through advisement from the Illinois Association of School Boards and its policy regulation authority, Policy Reference Education Subscription Service (PRESS).
